Abstract

Magistrsko delo predstavi možnost realizacije lastne rešitve pametne mize za namizni tenis s pomočjo senzorjev pametnega mobilnega telefona. Namen in cilj tega dela je ugotoviti, ali lahko s pomočjo senzorjev pametnega mobilnega telefona in obdelave zajetih signalov zaznamo padec žogice na igralno mizo ter na katero stran igralne mize je žogica padla. Najprej opravimo pregled področja, nato pa se posvetimo senzorjem mobilnega telefona, ogrodju Ionic in spletni platformi Firebase. V nadaljevanju izdelamo aplikacijo za zajem in analizo podatkov iz senzorja pospeškometra. Na koncu predstavimo naše rezultate in ugotovitve.

Secondary abstract: This master's thesis investigates the possibility of implementing a dedicated software solution for table tennis table, using smartphone sensors. The goal is to determine whether we can detect a ball hitting the table surface with certainty, by analyzing and processing data, gathered from various sensors. In addition, we try to spot on which side the ball hit the playing surface. At the beginning of the thesis, we evaluate above described field area more closely. Then we focus on hardware and software required for implementation of the solution: smartphone sensors, open source development kit Ionic and mobile and web application development platform Firebase. We follow by implementation of solution, capable of data acquisition and analysis, using smartphone accelerometer. We conclude this master's thesis with presentation of our results and findings.
