Abstract

Diplomsko delo je temeljilo na vrednotenju antioksidativne kapacitete izbranih brezvodnih kozmetičnih serumov istega proizvajalca z uporabo DPPH metode. S pomočjo mikrotitrskega čitalca in dobljenih absorbanc smo izračunali efektivno koncentracijo (EC50), rezultate pa smo nato primerjali in tako ugotovili, kateri izmed vzorcev ima najvišjo antioksidativno kapaciteto. Nekateri vzorci so vsebovali tudi fenolne spojine, zato smo vsem pomerili še vsebnost fenolnih spojin s Folin - Ciocalteu metodo.

Secondary abstract: The main aim of this work was to validate the antioxidant capacity of selected anhydrous cosmetic sera from the same manufacturer with the use of DPPH method. Microtiter plate reader was used to measure the absorbance of the samples, then the effective concentration (EC50) was calculated and the results were being compared. The results revealed which cosmetic sera are efficient in oxidative defence. Due to some cosmetic sera, that contain phenolic compounds, also the phenolic compound content with the use of Folin - Ciocalteu method was being measured.
