Abstract

Diplomska naloga preučuje vpliv t. i. spodbujevalnih pogojev (angl. facilitating conditions) na namero starejših neuporabnikov pametnih telefonov za uporabo pametnih telefonov. Osnovni cilj diplomskega dela je ugotoviti, ali spodbujevalni pogoji vplivajo na namero starejših neuporabnikov pametnih telefonov, da bi pričeli z uporabo pametnih telefonov. Spodbujevalni pogoji predstavljajo stopnjo, do katere posameznik verjame, da obstaja organizacijska in tehnična infrastruktura kot podpora za uporabo določenega sistema. Diplomsko delo temelji na modelu sprejemanja tehnologije TAM (angl. technology acceptance model) in njegovih nadgradnjah. S pomočjo analize podatkov iz raziskave, ki je bila izvedena v letu 2015 s pomočjo reprezentativne telefonske ankete s strani Centra za družboslovno informatiko Fakultete za družbene vede Univerze v Ljubljani, sem potrdil hipotezo, da spodbujevalni pogoji pozitivno vplivajo na namero uporabe pametnih telefonov med starejšimi neuporabniki pametnih telefonov.

Secondary abstract: The thesis studies the influence of facilitating conditions on the intention to use smartphones among elderly non-users of smartphones. The basic aim of this thesis is to determine whether facilitating conditions influence the intention to use smartphones among elderly non-users of smartphones. Facilitating conditions represent the degree to which an individual believes that there is an organizational and technical infrastructure functioning as support for the use of a particular system. The empirical study is based on the TAM model (Technology acceptance model) and its upgrades. On the basis of data analysis from a representative telephone survey conducted by the Centre for Social Informatics at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana, I have confirmed my hypothesis that facilitating conditions have a positive impact on the intention to use smartphones among older non-users of smartphones.
