Secondary abstract: | The diploma work deals with the topological optimization of an upright of a Formula Student racecar. The diploma contains a description of the roles an upright must fulfill and the loads it must withstand. The collection of data for the optimization has begun with determining the geometrical constraints. The loads which act upon each wheel were calculated next. A FEA analysis was conducted which translated the loads from the wheel in to the upright itself. All the data was then gathered into an INP file and imported into a topological optimization in ProTOp. The optimization result was used to prepare the final CAD model of the optimal upright. |
