Zavedanje o ogljičnem odtisu v občini Ig

Abstract

Globalno segrevanje ozračja postaja vedno večji problem v današnjem času. Zato smo se tudi posvetili problemu na to temo, bolj natančno ogljičnemu odtisu in ozaveščenosti prebivalcev občine Ig. Diplomsko delo vključuje pregled literature, ki je vezana na tematiko ogljičnega odtisa. Ko smo pridobili potrebno znanje, smo v začetku drugega dela pripravili anketo, ki nam bo kar najbolje pomagala izmeriti trenutno stanje v občini Ig. Po temeljnih pripravah smo se odpravili na teren anketirati občane v mestnem jedru. Temu je sledila analiza anketnih vprašalnikov s pomočjo statističnih metod in opis pridobljenih rezultatov, ter njihova interpretacija. V zaključku smo se posvetili še dokazovanju hipotez, kjer smo ugotovili, da ima stopnja izobraženosti vpliv na razumevanje problematike in vedenje občanov. Pri tem smo prvo hipotezo zavrnili, ker je ozaveščenost v občini Ig na višji ravni kot smo predvidevali. Med tem ko smo ostali dve hipotezi potrdili, saj ima stopnja izobraženosti vpliv na vedenje. V zaključku smo interpretirali dobljene rezultate in poiskali nove smernice, ki bi izboljšale ozaveščenost in trenutno stanje.

Secondary abstract:	Global warming is becoming an increasingly large issue in our time. That is why we decided to explore the problem of global climate change, specifically the impact and public awareness of carbon footprint. We begun our research with the study of relevant scientific literature. After we accumulated sufficient knowledge, we started developing a questionnaire that was going to help us measure and understand the current situation in the Municipality of Ig. When the ground work was layed, we started questioning the citizens in the city centre area. Upon completing the interview process, we analysed the questionnaires using statistical methods. We then described the gathered results, and subjected them to interpretation. In the final part we discussed whether the results of our research alligned with our initial hypotheses. The first hypothesis turned out to be false, while we could confirm the following two. We conluded by commenting on the findings and suggesting possible new guidelines for raising public awareness and improving the current situation.
