Abstract

Mestna mobilnost postaja vedno bolj mednarodni problem, vprašanja okoli trajnostne mobilnosti pa so vedno bolj prisotna v strokovni literaturi in javnem življenju.

Secondary title: Sustainable mobility and transition to a smart city
Secondary abstract: Today, urban areas are increasingly facing environmental problems such as air pollution, traffic congestion, lack of green spaces, and so on. Activities in urban areas have a major impact on the environment and in general the quality of life in cities. Urban mobility is becoming a more international issue, and questions about sustainable mobility are increasingly present in professional literature and public life. Sustainable mobility is to promote the transfer of a way of mobility to more sustainable modes of transport, such as walking, cycling or public transport, which they seek to stimulate through informing residents. These measures can improve the quality of life in the city in the long run. Sustainable mobility is part of a smart city that many world cities are seeking, especially in the developed world. In our mission we conducted a survey among the inhabitants of the city of Ljubljana. The survey showed people's awareness of a more comfortable and quality life. Based on the results of the research, we have prepared the possibility of improvement in practice with the proposal to introduce the concept of smart site. In addition, we have suggested using smart applications that aim to increase sustainable mobility in a smart place.
