Abstract

Z zdravjem povezana kakovost življenja opisuje, kako zdravje vpliva na posameznikovo vsakodnevno delovanje in njegovo dojemanje fizičnega, duševnega in socialnega blagostanja. Raziskovalne metode: Pri sistematičnem pregledu in analizi tuje in domače literature, smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo.

Secondary title: Effectiveness of complementary and alternative interventions for improving the quality of life in women with breast cancer
Secondary abstract: Introduction: Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in women. Breast cancer patients suffer from a number of psychological and physical symptoms that have a negative impact on their quality of life. Quality Of Life is a multi-dimensional construct that reflects the level of physical, social, functional, and emotional well-being. Health-related quality of life describes how health affects the individual's everyday functioning and well-being. Methods: A systematic overview and analysis of foreign and domestic literature was used to describe the descriptive method. With discriptive method we looked for the findings and knowledge of authors who have already studied the effectiveness of different interventions in breast cancer patients. Results: Based on 19 reviewed studies, we found that there are several complementary and alternative interventions that have an impact on improving the quality of life, the health-related quality of life in women with breast cancer. These were both physical exercises as well as psychotherapy and counseling. Conclusion: There is not only one intervention that is most effective, but several interventions that can have a positive impact on the quality of life in women with breast cancer. Each woman can therefore choose herself the intervention that best suits her and that way it can make better effect on the quality of her life.
