Abstract

V diplomski nalogi smo raziskali področje lociranja mobilne naprave v zaprtih prostorih. Predstavili in primerjali smo nekaj že obstoječih rešitev, prav tako pa smo razvili lastno mobilno aplikacijo, kjer smo poskušali uporabiti eno izmed rešitev za pomoč pri navigaciji znotraj Fakultete za elektrotehniko, računalništvo in informatiko. Ugotovili smo, da je za razvoj lastne rešitve treba preučiti že obstoječe navigacijske sisteme, prav tako pa se je treba zavedati naših potreb in omejitev, ki nam pomagajo, da izberemo primerno vrsto navigacije za našo mobilno aplikacijo.

Secondary title: Determining the indoor location of a mobile device
Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis, we investigated the field of determining the indoor position of a mobile device. We presented and compared some of the existing solutions, as well as developed our own mobile application, where we tried to use one of the solutions for navigation assistance within the Fakulteta za elektrotehniko, računalništvo in informatiko. We have found that in order to develop our own solution, it is necessary to examine the already existing navigation systems, and we need to be aware of our needs and constraints, which help us select the appropriate type of navigation for our mobile application.
