Abstract

V diplomskem delu bo predstavljeno množično financiranje kot optimalna alternativa zbiranja denarnih sredstev za posameznika na začetku podjetniške poti. Opisano bo delovanje najpopularnejše globalne platforme za množično financiranje Kickstarter ter pomen skupnosti in komunikacije za izvedbo uspešne kampanje. Prav tako bo predstavljena lastna izkušnja uporabe globalne platforme Kickstarter za lansiranje izdelka za športne aktivnosti v vodi, imenovanega Skippy, ter potrditev zanimivo postavljene teorije o delovanju globalne platforme.

Secondary abstract:	The diploma thesis will presenet crowdfunding as an optimal alternative to raising money for an individual at the beginning of their own entrepreneurial journey. It will describe the operation of the most popular global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, as well as the importance of community and communication for a sucessful campaign. It will also showcase my own experience of using the global platfom Kickstarter to launch a product for water sports activities called Skippy and validate an interesting theory of how the global platform Kickstarter works.
