Abstract

Predstavili smo najbolj znane motivacijske teorije, kot so Maslowa teorija potreb, Herzbergova teorija motivacije, Hackman – Oldhamov model, Vroomova teorija in McGregorjeva teorija X in Y. Opredelili smo pojme izobraževanje, usposabljanje in učenje. Spoznali smo, katere vrste izobraževanj poznamo, kakšne so značilnosti izobraževanje odraslih in kako poteka izobraževalna dejavnost v organizacijah.

Secondary title: Motivation for education of the employees in company t-2, d.o.o.
Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis we discussed the motivation for education of employees in the company T-2, d. o. o. T-2 is a modern telecommunications company offering quality and reliable telecommunications, information and media services on the market. Its platform is a state-of-the-art technology. Developmentally, the company is focused on convergent broadband and personalized interactive services. The thesis consists of two parts. In the first, theoretical part, we presented what is motivation, what are motives, needs, and which motivational factors we know. We presented the most famous motivational theories, such as the Maslow’s theory of needs, Herzberg's theory of motivation, Hackman's Oldham’s model, Vroom's theory, and McGregor's theory of X and Y. We defined the concepts education, training and learning. We learned about what kind of education we know, what are the characteristics of adult education and how the educational activities of organizations are taking place. In the empirical part, we used the questionnaire to determine what the factors that motivate employees for education are. We were interested in what obstacles are those that hinder employees in education. We also wanted to identify the types of education that employees want, when they want training to be delivered, and in what areas they actually want to get education. In the end, we answered our research questions based on empirical work. Through our research we have found out, that the greatest motivator for education of employees is the desire to contribute to their own development. Despite the lack of free time being known as the biggest obstacle, most of them still think they want to get an education. They want training in the form of hands-on workshops and they would prefer to have training organized during office hours.
