Abstract

Namen diplomske naloge je implementirati prilagodljivo spletno aplikacijo za vizaulizacijo zvijanja proteinov. Aplikacija bo omogočala vizualizacijo zvijanja proteinov na napravah z različno ločljivostjo. Vizualizirati bo možno zvijanje proteinov za dva poenostavljena modela HP in AB. Model HP postavlja aminokisline v kubično mrežo, medtem ko model AB postavlja aminokisline na poljuben položaj znotraj tridimenzionalnega prostora. Vizualizacija zvijanja proteinov znotraj naše aplikacije bo tako omogočila vpogled v delovanje algoritmov optimizacije zvijanja proteinov, za oba modela.

Secondary title: Adaptive web application for protein folding visualization
Secondary abstract: The purpose of the thesis is to explain the concept of how to implement an adaptive web application for the visualisation of protein folding. The application will allow visualization of protein folding on devices with differing resolutions. It will visualize the protein folding process by two simplified HP and AB models. The HP model puts amino acids in a cubic lattice, while the AB model places amino acids at any position within a three-dimensional space. The visualization of protein folding within the application will thus provide insight into how optimization algorithms work for both models.
