diplomsko delo
Abstract
Diplomsko delo govori o varnem potapljanju brez dekompresije.

Physical principles of diving |
Secondary abstract: |
This work describes safe diving without decompression. There are many physical factors, such as outer pressure, partial pressure of gases, depth and time of diving, and solubility of gases. With the help of the equation to determine the amount of pressure, I calculated the pressure of diver's surroundings. When apnea diving, the shrinking of diver's lungs is based on increase of depth, which I calculated, using Boyle's law. Every gas has also it's own partial pressure. Nitrogen is one of the most harmful gas to the human body, hence why I calculated the partial pressure of nitrogen, with the help of Dalton's law. Its partial pressure on surface is 0,78 bar, whereas at the depth of 40 m totals 3,90 bar. With increasing depth, the solubility of nitrogen in blood also increases, which is determined by Henry's law. At last I explained the usage of diving tables in order to avoid serious risks and decompression sickness. |
