Abstract

Tračni transporterji predstavljajo enega najbolj osnovnih in razširjenih načinov transportiranja materiala.

Secondary title: Numerical analysis of the conveyor belt throughput capacity by using the DEM method
Secondary abstract: Belt conveyors represent one of the most basic and widespread ways of transporting material. Due to their versatility, they are also used to transport various bulk materials. With the development of computers, various numerical programs have emerged that allow the simulation of material transport and easier and faster analysis in a relatively short time. The diploma thesis thus represents the production of the composition of several conveyor belts in the Solidworks software package and then analysis of gravel transport on the selected conveyor. Emphasis is placed on numerical simulations in EDEM, on the parameters for the simulation and the boundary conditions of the simulation. The simulation was performed on a single conveyor at different inclinations and speeds of the belt, and finally the results were compared with analytical calculations.
