Analiza športno-turistične ponudbe Ptuja in okolice

Abstract

V diplomskem delu Analiza športno-turistične ponudbe Ptuja in okolice smo podrobno analizirali športno ponudbo Ptuja in njegove okolice. Poudarek je bil predvsem na športni ponudbi, ki privablja oziroma je zanimiva za turiste. Namen je bil tudi izdelava predloga za izboljšanje športno-turistične ponudbe in njene promocije. Šport je namreč današnjem času zelo priljubljen, sploh med ljudmi, ki večji del dneva zaradi službe presedijo ali pa so pod stresom. Velika večina se jih zato med dopustom ukvarja s športom, nekateri pa potujejo prav zaradi športa (ogled športnih prireditev, sodelovanje na športnih prireditvah). Zato je za destinacije pomembno, da ponujajo čimveč športnih aktivnosti in seveda da jo znajo primerno promovirati in z njeno pomočjo privabiti turiste v destinacijo prav zaradi ponudbe športa. Diplomsko nalogo sestavljata teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu smo pojasnili pomen turistične destinacije in turistične ponudbe ter kakšen je pravzaprav pomen športa in rekreacije za razvoj turistične destinacije. V empiričnem delu pa smo predstavili Ptuj in njegovo okolico in analizirali njuno športno ponudbo. Izvedli smo tudi anketo med turisti, s katero smo želeli ugotoviti kako so jim bile dostopne informacije o športni ponudbi Ptuja z okolico ter razlog zakaj so sploh obiskali Ptuj.

Secondary abstract:	In the diploma work Analysis of the sports tourism offers in Ptuj and its surroundings, we thoroughly analyzed the sports tourism offers in Ptuj and its surroundings. The focus was especially on the sports offers that attract and/or are interesting for tourists. The intention was as well, to come up with better suggestions how to improve the sports tourism offers and advertise those. Nowadays sport is very popular, especially amongst the people that spend the majority of their time behind the desk or are often under a lot of pressure, that’s why the better part of the society takes on sports during their holidays, some even see sport as a reason to travel (visiting a sporting event, participating in sporting events). Based on these facts, it is crucial for destinations to offer as many sports activities as possible as well as properly advertising them, and so appeal to tourists specifically because of the sport offers. The diploma work consists of the theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part we explain the meaning of a tourist destination and the tourist offer as well as the role that sports and recreation play in the development of a tourist destination. In the empirical part we introduced Ptuj and its surroundings and analyzed their sports offers. We also carried out a survey among the tourists, with which we wanted to find out where and how were they able to find information about the sports offers in Ptuj and surroundings, along with the reason as to why they decided to visit Ptuj.
