Secondary abstract: | With industrialization, the amount of waste has increased dramatically, and thus the problem of waste management has arisen. Solid waste incineration exists for more than a century now and almost as long energy form waste exist. From the beginning waste incineration was an efficient way of solid waste treatment, however it had been far form environment friendly. In the sixties first questions appeared about incinerations impact on environment and humans. Only in the late eighties significant changes were made and since than solid waste incineration became a lot safer. Despite the progress, the development of waste incineration and flue gas cleaning must continue. |
