Abstract

Pri svojem delu sem se ukvarjala s pretvorbami halogeniranih organskih spojin. Osredotočila sem se na reakcije nukleofilne substitucije s kalijevim etil ksantatom. Halogenske derivate sem sintetizirala z redukcijo ketonov in aldehidov v alkohole ter nadalje s kloriranjem alkoholov z SOCl2. Na tako dobljenih produktih sem nato izvedla nukleofilno substitucijo s kalijevim etil ksantatom. Izkoristki reakcij so bili visoki. Dobljene produkte sem izolirala z ekstrakcijo, filtracijo in destilacijo. Za karakterizacijo produktov sem uporabila 1H NMR spektre, posnete v CDCl3 pri 300 ali 500 MHz.

Secondary abstract: In my work, I was investigating reactions that take place on halogenated organic compounds. I focused on the reactions of the nucleophilic substitution by potassium ethyl xanthate. I synthesized the halogenated derivatives by reducing ketones and aldehydes into alcohols, and further by chlorination of alcohols with SOCl2. On the products thus obtained, I performed a nucleophilic substitution by potassium ethyl xanthate. The yields of the reactions were high. The products were isolated by extraction, filtration and distillation. For the characterization of the products, I used the 1H NMR spectra recorded in the CDCl3 at 300 or 500 MHz.
