Secondary abstract: | Study describes the production of a refractive index fluid gauge based on a fresnel reflection at the tip of an optical fiber. The refractive index is determined by the light reflected between the two media, which is captured on the photodetector and, in combination with the transimpedance amplifier, is also amplified. The gauge can measure continuously while being accurate and affordable. |
