Abstract

Magistrsko delo se ukvarja s problematiko regeneracije trenutno degradiranega mestnega prostora in je segment celotne regeneracije urbanega prostora manjšega hrvaškega mesta Varaždin. Delo se ukvarja z zasnovo Novega vrtca v Varaždinu, njegove urbane okolice in združevanjem socialno podobnih dejavnosti, kot so dom za ostarele in V. osnovne šole, ki so v njegovi neposredni bližini. V teoretičnem delu naloge smo pregledali zgodovino predšolske vzgoje na Hrvaškem in predstavili lokalne zgodovinske, geografske in urbane kriterije, iz katerih izvira ideja regeneracije prostora. V nadaljevanju smo na podlagi analiz obstoječega stanja lokacije izdelali izhodišča za cilje in zasnovo novega vrtca ter njegove urbane okolice. Novi objekt je določen z urbanimi gabariti in navideznimi prostorskimi potezami sosednjih objektov, ki s svojo okolico tvorijo celoto mikrolokacije.

Secondary abstract:	The master’s thesis deals with the regeneration of the currently degraded urban area, and is a segment of the whole process of regeneration of urban space in the small town of Varaždin, Croatia. The work deals with the design of the new kindergarten in Varaždin and its urban surroundings, and the integration of socially similar activities in the form of a home for the elderly and V. primary school, which are located in its immediate vicinity. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we examined the history of pre-school education in Croatia and presented the local historical, geographical and urban criteria, which are the basis of the idea of space regeneration. Furthermore, we analysed the existing state of the site and prepared the starting points for the objectives and design of a new kindergarten and its urban surroundings. The new facility is determined by urban dimensions and virtual spatial features of neighbouring facilities, which, with its surroundings, form the micro-location as a whole.
