Abstract

V diplomskem delu Razvrščanje v prvi starostni skupini smo želeli ugotoviti, kakšne so zmožnosti razvrščanja v Carrollov in drevesni diagram pri otrocih prve starostne skupine. V teoretičnem delu smo opisali vlogo matematike v predšolskem obdobju. Pri tem smo se osredotočali predvsem na vlogo vzgojitelja in na to, kakšno vlogo ima pri tem okolje. Prav tako smo opisali, kakšno vlogo ima pri tem kurikula za vrtce. V nadaljevanju smo obravnavali vsebine, ki jih otroci srečujejo pri matematiki v vrtcu. V drugem delu, torej v empiričnem delu diplomske naloge, smo v osmih pod poglavjih predstavili naše ugotovitve. Preverjali smo, kako dobro otroci med 2. in 3. letom starosti razvrščajo v Carrollov in drevesni diagram. Rezultati so pokazali, da imajo otroci prvega starostnega obdobja še kar nekaj težav pri razvrščanju - predvsem z razpoznavanjem simbola in posledično s pravilnim razvrščanjem v diagrame.

Secondary abstract: In my diploma thesis, "Classification in the First Age Period", I wanted to find out how able children are at classifying using Carroll and tree diagrams. In the theoretical part we described the role of maths in the pre-school period. We mainly focused on the role of the teacher and of the surroundings. We also described the role of the curriculum in kindergartens. We continued by examining the topics that children meet in kindergartens and are connected with maths. In the second, empirical part of my diploma thesis, we presented our findings in eight chapters. We checked how well children between two and three can classify into Carroll and tree diagrams. The results have shown that children of the first age period have some problems when classifying - mostly with symbol recognising and, consequently, with the right classification into diagrams.
