Abstract

Kljub legi ob mednarodnem mejnem prehodu in glavni cestni povezavi Ptuj–Varaždin jedro počasi zamira zaradi pomanjkanja storitvenega programa. V nalogi se v starem jedru osmislijo novi programi in njihova lega v prostoru.

Secondary title: Revitalization of the old and design of the new village center in the municipality Zavrč
Secondary abstract: Zavrč is a small Slovenian municipality in wine-growing Haloze. Throughout the history Zavrč was always a borderland. Shifting of the border influenced the spatial development of Zavrč. Today, Zavrč has an old, historic center, a new administrative center and an intermediate settlement on Croatian territory. The historic center of Zavrč has a notable historical legacy, such as mansion from the 18th century, a park next to the mansion, two churches, and the site of Bronze Age remains. Despite its location next to the international border crossing and the main Ptuj–Varaždin road connection, the core is stagnant due to the lack of a service program. In the master’s thesis, new programs and their position in space are designed in the old center. At the end of the 1960s, a new center in Zavrč began to take shape in settlements Goričak–Hrastovec. The center is developing without holistic planning and has no central village space. New design for the use of the whole center space with guidelines for future development is introduced in the master’s thesis.
