Secondary abstract: | In this master thesis we design ground protection mat from polymer. The design is result of boundary conditions, material and the optimization of support patterns finding best fitting between volume and strength. In optimizing process, we also consider the technological recommendations for designing injection molding-based products. We perform numerical optimization on geometrical solutions on compressive and bending strength. With the final design, satisfying all design and technological requirements, we achieved seventeen percent reduction of volume per square meter of mats relative to competition. |
