Abstract

Vse nove javne zgradbe in drugi večji poslovni in turistični objekti so bili v zadnjih letih zgrajeni s posluhom za ljudi z gibalnimi težavami. Pomagamo si s kriteriji dostopnosti, in sicer z dostopnostjo do informacij, fizično, psihosocialno in ekonomsko dostopnostjo.

Secondary title: Analysis and opportunities of accessible tourism at Podsreda Castle
Secondary abstract: Accessible tourism includes tourism for sensory and physically impaired persons, persons with mental and intellectual impairments, those who travel with children in baby carriages, elderly persons and others who have difficulties in accessing tourism due to other health reasons (diabetes, allergies, etc.). Slovenia is a physically impaired-friendly country in terms of accessibility. All new public buildings and other large commercial and tourist facilities in the recent years have been constructed with the physically impaired in mind. According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia a considerable progress has been achieved and with that one of the important goals of the European cultural policy reached. Accessibility of tourist facilities does not stand for the physical accessibility only in the sense of adapting an environment to wheelchairs. Due to highly diverse needs accessible tourism needs to be arranged at different levels. We can use accessibility criteria, including accessibility of information, physical, psychosocial and economic accessibility. In this bachelor thesis we were able to set out guidelines for the development of accessible offer at Podsreda Castle with the help of accessibility criteria, benchmarking analysis, examination of national and international literature and interviews.
