diplomsko delo
Abstract
Učinkovito vodenje plavalnega treninga zahteva natančno spremljanje sprememb v plavalčevem funkcionalnem sistemu. Najboljši pokazatelj napredka sta hitrosti aerobnega in anaerobnega praga.

Use of Lactate Tests for Swimming Training |
Secondary abstract: |
An efficient leading of a swimming training demands a precise monitoring of changes of a swimmer's physiological system. The best way of showing the progress are the speeds of aerobic and anaerobic thresholds. The best and the easiest ways for discovering these changes are lactate test which are carried out correctly and periodically. Lactate tests show us the blood lactate concentration during different swimming speeds. From the results of lactate tests a coach draws a lactate curve. In a coordinate system the swimming speed is represented by x-axis and the blood lactate concentration is represented by y-axis. From the lactate curve the coach must be able to estimate a maximal lactate steady state which represents the anaerobic threshold. We know many different ways of determinating the anaerobic threshold from lactate tests. The literature also knows many different testing procedures which can be used by coaches. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. If we want to consider the results reliable, we have to follow the strict rules how to perform lactate tests correctly not to misinterpretate the results. The purpose of this thesis is to show swim coaches why to use lactate test in swim training and to show different test protocols fort them to use. |
