Abstract

Živimo v dobi informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije (IKT), saj se z njo vsakodnevno soočamo in brez katere ne znamo oziroma "ne smemo" več preživeti poklicnega dne. Prav tako kot se je integrirala v naša življenja, z njo odraščajo tudi naši otroci - učenci in dijaki. Njim so IKT-naprave, kot so računalnik, tablice, mobilni telefon itd., še bližje. Prav zato mora učitelj to upoštevati in biti pripravljen na to dejstvo tako v šoli kot v celotnem procesu vzgoje in izobraževanja. Na spletu je poplava možnih aplikacij, programov in orodji, ki so neposredno ali posredno povezane z uporabo IKT v izobraževanju. Prav zato se mora učitelj na tem področju nenehno izobraževati in znati kritično vrednotiti njihovo uporabnost pri doseganju zastavljenih ciljev in standardov znanja. V okviru magistrskega dela sem poiskal, preizkusil, uporabil in opisal uporabnost paketa aplikacij, ki jih ponuja Office 365, ter njihovih orodij za namen vzgoje in izobraževanja. Opisal sem možnost dela učitelja z omenjenimi aplikacijami in podal primere njihove uporabe pri samem procesu izobraževanja. Predstavljene aplikacije tudi sam redno uporabljam pri procesu poučevanja že nekaj let, zato sem v magistrskem delu predstavil primere dobre prakse oz. rabe le-teh. Ugotovil sem, da je delo v razredu z uporabo IKT, kot so mobilne naprave v povezavi z aplikacijami, zanimivo, pestro, učence oz. dijake pa s pomočjo le-teh aktivno vključuje v proces izobraževanja in jim v tem času odvzame možnost uporabe mobilnih naprav za dejavnosti, ki niso vezane na sam proces izobraževanja. Vsekakor ni potrebe po nenehnem in vsakodnevnem poseganju po delu z mobilnimi napravami. Učitelj mora biti tisti, ki bo dobro razmislil, kdaj in predvsem koliko časa je pripravljen vložiti v delo in doseganje ciljev s primerno uporabo IKT, saj je doseganje standardov in učnih ciljev primarno delo učitelja.

Secondary abstract: We live in the age of information and communications technology (ICT) and we encounter it on a daily basis and cannot or "are not allowed to" spend a single professional day without it. The same way the technology has integrated into our lives it also represents a significant role in the lives of our children - pupils and students. To them ICT devices such as computers, tablets, mobile phones etc. are even closer. That is why teachers have to consider and prepare for that fact in school and in the whole education process. There is an inundation of various applications, programs and tools, which are directly or indirectly connected with the use of ICT in education. Accordingly, teachers have to educate themselves constantly and be able to critically evaluate the usefulness of these tools for achieving set goals and knowledge standards. In the master thesis I selected, tested, used and described the usability of the Office 365 application suite as well as its tools for the education purpose. I described the possibilities for teacher's work with these applications and gave the examples of their use in the education process. Since I have been using these applications in my teaching for several years, I also presented the examples of good practice. I came to the conclusion that the teaching and learning process in a classroom with the use of ICT, e.g. mobile devices used with applications, is interesting and diverse because such activities actively engage students in learning and also redirect their attention from the online activities that are not related to the education process. It is by no means necessary to use mobile devices every day in school. A teacher has to be the one who consciously decides when and how he/she will use ICT in order to achieve learning objectives and knowledge standards which is the primary goal of a teacher.
