Secondary abstract: | In my diploma, I looked at a regenerative heat exchanger with finned tubes. The heat exchanger has four passes and is crossflowed. The fluids used, are water end flue gases. I have used an analytic approach to calculate the exit temperatures of water and flue gases. I have also determined the efficiency of the heat exchanger. In order to verify the analytical results, I made a simulation in ANSYS CFX computational fluid dynamics. The geometry that is used in the simulation was constructed in Creo Parametric 5.0.0.0. |
