aktivno učenje z raziskovanjem
Abstract

Secondary abstract: |
The purpose of this work is to find out how an educational process in pre-school period is affected by project work with the method of exploratory active learning by closed-type. The project fits in social activities with topics that are also suitable for other areas of preschool curriculum.
The theoretical part first presents early childhood learning, experience-based learning with all its characteristics and active learning with three different approaches (Kindergarten curriculum, Reggio Emilia and High/Scope), followed by a chapter on learning through exploration and project work.
Project “I” (as in “Me”) was carried out in preschool class in which all 19 children were aged between five and six. The empirical part of this work is based on daily records, photographs and project evaluation. The results showed that project work with an active method of learning through closed-type research has beneficial effects on the educational process. Children were very active throughout the implementation and showed high level of interest and desire for further involvement. |
