Abstract

Namen diplomskega projekta je bil opozoriti na problematiko konfliktov v delovnem okolju, kakšen je njihov učinek na delovno storilnost in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih ter kako pomembno je njihovo delovanje. Z raziskavo smo ugotavljali kakšni so medsebojni odnosi v konkretnem delovnem okolju, zakaj prihaja do konfliktov v konkretnem delovnem okolju, kako se nanje odzivajo, kako jih obvladujejo. Raziskava je pokazala, da so odnosi dobri, konflikti pa redki. Ti se najpogosteje pojavljajo kot nesporazumi med osebami. Do težav pri komunikaciji oz. do konfliktov prihaja, ker je sogovornik med komunikacijo z mislimi drugje. Anketirani konflikte razrešujejo, ko do njih prihaja, med tem ko se njihovi sodelavci ob konfliktu običajno prilagodijo in razrešujejo konflikte. Najbolj se strinjajo, da prevzamejo odgovornost in iščejo rešitve za nastalo situacijo ter da si sodelavci povedo, kako se počutijo, med tem, ko se najmanj strinjajo, da komunikacije ne prekinjajo sredi pogovora, četudi pride do konflikta. Na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov raziskave smo podali smernice oz. predloge za učinkovitejšo obvladovanje konfliktov.

Secondary abstract: The aim of the diploma thesis was to draw attention to the problem of conflicts at workplace, what is its impact on work productivity and employee satisfaction like, and how important it is to manage it. The research has found out what the relationships at a particular work environment are like, why conflicts occur at a specific work environment, how employees respond to them and how they manage them. The research has shown that relationships are good and conflicts are rare. If they appear, they are mostly considered as misunderstandings. Conflicts at communication or communication problems occur when the interlocutor is not focused to a conversation. Interviewees resolve conflicts immediately when they occur, while their co-workers usually adjust and resolve conflicts during a conflict. They mostly agree that they take responsibility and try to solve the situation and express how they feel to their coworkers. On the other hand, they agree the least in not interrupting a conversation when a conflict appears. Based on the results of the research we made guidelines and suggestions for a more effective conflict management.
