(diplomsko delo)
Abstract
Drogo so začeli uživati kasneje. Glavni razlog za uživanje so različne vrste pritiskov s strani prijateljev in vrstnikov.

Introduction: Use of drugs and alcoholic beverages presents large public, healthcare and social problem, as drugs and alcohol are easily accessible by adolescents and therefore widely used. Both drugs and alcohol leave huge consequences on the adolescent's body and their mental health and they can also lead to a death. In our conclusion we presented opinion of high school students about consumtion of drugs and alcohol and their knowleadge about the consequences of their use on their health.
Methods: In theoretical part we used descriptive research method. In empirical part of work we used quantitive methodology. To gather all informations we used survey questionnaire that had 25 open-ended and close-ended questions. Questions reffered to high school students and their drugs and alcohol consumption. Analysed data is presented descriptively and graphically.
Results: 91% high school students that participated in research have drink alcohol and 28% used drugs. Majority started to drink alcohol very early, in childhood period. Drug use came later in their life. The main reason for taking drugs and drinking alcohol are diffrent kinds of pressure from their friends and peers. Although majority of high school students already met diffrent typs of psychoactive substances, 18% of them didn't know how to explain the meaning of risky behavior.
Discussion: Unhealthy lifestyle of high school students influences their health also in adulthood period and later on in their life. Therefore, it is important that healthcare workers, parents and also teachers encourage healthy lifestyle habits and educate them about different unhealthy behaviours and their consequences. |
