Abstract

Secondary title: Development and integration of a space illumination regulation system in internet of things environment
Secondary abstract: The purpose of the master’s degree was to make a system for regulation of space illumination with the help of exterior blinds in environment IoT. For this purpose we made a printed circuit with possibility to connect onto the internet with the wireless technology WiFi. The main printed circuit is receiving and then passing data onto broker MQTT with the help of communication MQTT which works using a publish/subscribe pattern. This gives the system possibility to be controlled and monitored with the help of a smart device over distance in a relatively simple way. The printed circuit and concept are both designed in a way that enables the upgrading system into environment Smart Lab. Along with the main circuit we had to design hardware parts, software and user interface on a smart device. The thesis also includes a theory background for MQTT protocol, lux meter development and implementation, measurement of torque needed for moving blinds and testing of system itself.
