QR code has been known for several years, but it has been more intensively used in the last years. Its development was influenced by the increased presence of smart phones among users and use of new tools. QR code helped to overcome the discrepancy between printed and digital media.
At the beginning of the master's thesis, theoretical fundamentals are presented: general concepts of bar codes and detailed description of one of the bar codes – QR code. Further, introduction and use of the QR code in the chosen company are presented. At the end of the master's thesis, I estimated – based on the results of effectiveness of introduction of the QR code in the production company – the solution as a positive one.
The objective of the master's thesis was to get to know the QR code, its performance, and use better. Results revealed that a correct and precisely planned QR code can be very useful. In doing so, we have to consider the fact that we have to present the QR codes to the people as well as to present them their use and advantages. |
