Abstract
Diplomsko delo predstavi fotografsko tehniko, katere namen je prikazati motiv v navidezno pomanjšanem merilu kot v merilu, v katerem je prisoten v dejanskem svetu. Manipulacija z navidezno velikostjo motiva je posledica izbrane perspektive, to lahko poudarita še globinska ostrina in barvni kontrast. Za doseganje učinka miniature sta ključna ustrezna postavitev fotoaparata in pristop v postprodukciji, s katerima se prepreči pojavnost prostorskih ključev. Praktičen del diplomskega dela zajema preizkus izbranih metod za ustvarjanje iluzije miniature, katerega rezultat sta serija fotografij mesta Maribor in analiza nastalih fotografij.

Secondary abstract: |
The following thesis presents a photographic technique used to show the selected motif in a seemingly smaller size than the one it possesses in the real world. Apparent size manipulation is a consequence of the chosen perspective and can be further emphasized by the manipulation of depth of field and colour contrast. Proper camera placement and an appropriate approach in postproduction both reduce depth cues and are vital for achieving the effect of miniature in photography. Practical part of the thesis examines selected methods for creation of a miniature illusion, resulting in a series of photographs of the city Maribor and their analysis. |
