Abstract

Uvod: Zdravstvena nega je poklic, v katerem je tradicionalno na prvem mestu skrb za druge. Da ga lahko kakovostno opravljamo, pa se moramo vendarle naučiti poskrbeti tudi zase. Izvajalka zdravstvene nege (medicinska sestra), ki se drži tudi skrbi zase, je zmožna bolje ohranjati svoje telesno zdravje in krepiti zdravje notranjega jaza. S tem omogoči bolj kakovostno zdravstveno nego pacientov Namen: Diplomsko delo poskuša najti povezavo med etiko skrbi, skrbjo zase in sindrom izgorelosti medicinskih sester. Metode dela: Uporabljena je deskriptivna metoda s pregledom slovenske in tuje strokovne ter znanstvene literature, ki je izšla od leta 2000 do leta 2019. Kriteriji za vključitev literature v končno analizo so bili: slovenska in tuja literatura napisana v angleškem jeziku izdana od leta 2000 in do konca junija 2019, ki je vsebovala vsaj dve ključni besedi. Članki so morali biti strokovni ali znanstveni na temo ključnih iskanih besed. V končno analizo je bilo vključenih 37 enot literature. Rezultati: Od vseh enot literature sta le 2 članka direktno raziskovala skrb medicinske sestre zase. Ostale literaturne enote so raziskovale etične dileme medicinskih sester, vzroke za čustveno izčrpanost, slabe odnose na delovnem mestu in sindrom izgorelosti. Razprava in zaključek: Skrb zase je del etike skrbi. Proučevanje skrbi zase v zdravstveni negi bo pomagalo razrešiti problem čustvene izgorelosti in absentizma. S tem se bo kakovost življenja medicinskih sester izboljšala, kar posledično vodi k bolj kakovostni zdravstveni negi pacienta.

Secondary abstract: Introduction: Nursing is a profession in which, traditionally, first comes care for others. However, before we can do a proper and professional nursing care, we have to learn to do self-care first. A Nurse, whom values self-care, is able to care and maintain her own physical and mental health, with which the quality of nursing rises. Purpose: Diploma work tried to find the connection between ethics of care, self-care and burnout syndrome among nurses. Methods: Used was descriptive method with slovenian and foreign literature review, which were publish during the years from 2000 till 2019. The criteria to include the literature in final analyses was: published slovenian literature and foregin literature written in english language, published from the year 2000 till june 2019. The literature had to include two of the keywords. The articles needed to be published in scientific publications, with the theme from the keywords. In the final analyses there were included 37 literature units. Results: From all literature units, only 2 articles pursue the topic of nurses self-care. Other literature units are focused on ethical dilemmas, causes for emotional distress and bad working conditions in nursing and burnout syndrome. Discussion and conclusion: Self-Care is part of care ethics. Reserching nurses' self-care would help solving problems of emotional exhaustion and absenteezem. Wtih that the quality of nurses' life would rise, which would lead to better quality of nursing care.
