Abstract

V magistrskem delu so predstavljene različne metode sušenja zraka s poudarkom na sušenju zraka z rotirajočim sušilnikom za potrebe farmacevtske proizvodnje v čistih prostorih. V čistih prostorih je zahtevana visoka kakovost zraka, doseg slednje pa je pogojen z veliko rabo energije. V eksperimentalnem delu smo najprej izvedli meritve na obstoječem sistemu za sušenje zraka z rotirajočim sušilnikom in pridobili potrebne podatke, ki so bili osnova za validacijo računalniškega modela, izdelanega v simulacijskem orodju TRNSYS. S pomočjo računalniškega modela smo izvedli simulacijo delovanja sistema sušenja zraka z rotirajočim sušilnikom za časovno obdobje enega leta, na podlagi katere smo izračunali rabo energije za časovno obdobje enega leta. Računalniški model sušenja zraka z rotirajočim sušilnikom smo nato primerjali z računalniškim modelom sistema sušenja zraka z dodatnima prenosnikoma toplote. Ugotovili smo, da je v časovnem obdobju enega leta raba energije sistema sušenja zraka z rotirajočim sušilnikom manjša od rabe energije sistema sušenja zraka z dodatnima prenosnikoma toplote.

Secondary abstract: The master's thesis introduces various air drying methods and especially focuses on air drying by using a rotary dryer for the purposes of pharmaceutical production in clean rooms. Clean rooms require high air quality, while achieving this entails high energy use. In the experimental part of the thesis, we firstly performed measurements on an existing air drying system with a rotary dryer and obtained the necessary data, which formed the basis for validating a computer model, created with the TRNSYS simulation tool. By using a computer model, we simulated the operation of a rotary dryer air drying system over a one-year time period. Based on the simulation, the energy consumption for the one-year time period was calculated. The computer model of the rotary dryer air drying system was then compared with a computer model of an air drying system using additional heat exchangers. We have found that, over a one-year time period, the energy consumption of the rotary dryer air drying system is lower than the energy consumption of an air drying system with additional heat exchangers.
