Abstract

Babica je usposobljena za spremljanje fiziološke nosečnosti in po zakonskih predpisih je pregled v 16., 32., 37., 38. in 39. tednu nosečnosti njena kompetenca. Kljub temu ženske v slovenskem zdravstvenem sistemu v večji meri preglede opravljajo pri izbranem ginekologu/porodničarju.V zaključnem delu smo želeli ugotoviti, koliko slovenske ženske poznajo babiške kompetence in kakšno je njihovo mnenje glede izvajanja preventivnih babiških pregledov v nosečnosti.

Secondary title: Opinions of Slovene women on the implementation of preventive examinations during pregnancy performed by midwives
Secondary abstract: A midwife is qualified for the monitoring of the physiology of pregnancy and according to legal provisions an examination in the 16th, 32nd, 37th, 38th, 39th week of pregnancy is her competence. Despite this the majority of women in the Slovene health care system opt for a check-up at the selected gynaecologist/obstetrician. In the conclusive part we aim to determine the extent of knowledge of Slovene women about the midwives´ competences and what their opinion is on preventive health screens during pregnancy on the part of midwives.
