Secondary title: | Designing a terminal of steel safety barrier |
Secondary abstract: | Terminal is an important part of a safety barrier as it prevents parts of a safety barrier from penetrating into the cabin of a vehicle during an impact. This diploma thesis discusses designing concepts of a terminal for the type L-LIGHT H4b W4 steel safety barrier and preperation of related technical documentation. Based on the review of regulations and existing terminals, we have designed different concepts of terminals for a barrier with and without distance spacers. By evaluating different possible solutions, we chose the optimal two for both concepts and created 3D models, assembly drawings and workshop drawings of the newly designed parts. |
