Abstract

Za magistrsko nalogo smo izbrali naslov Interno komuniciranje in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v podjetju x, saj je komunikacija glavni faktor, ki nedvomno vpliva na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih pri delu. Komunikacija je stik med ljudmi, ki včasih povzroča negativne posledice in nelagodje v življenju, vendar pogosto o tem vplivu sploh ne razmišljamo. Cilj magistrskega dela je ugotoviti, kaj pravzaprav pomenita pojma komunikacija in zadovoljstvo ter kakšne oblike in poti komuniciranja poznamo. Zanimalo nas je tudi kakšna orodja se uporabljajo za interno komuniciranje. Navsezadnje smo se posvetili povezavi med komunikacijo in zadovoljstvom zaposlenih pri delu. Magistrska naloga je razdeljena na tri vsebinske sklope. V uvodu predstavljamo vsebino teme, ki jo obravnavamo, ter osnovni cilj. Predstavljen je namen magistrskega dela ter metode, ki smo jih uporabili za raziskovanje. V teoretičnem delu smo se poglobili v opredelitev interne komunikacije in zadovoljstva zaposlenih pri delu. Opisali smo pomen teh dveh pojmov ter predstavili poti in orodja internega komuniciranja, hkrati smo si natančneje pogledali dejavnike zadovoljstva. Predstavili smo stopnje in posledice nezadovoljstva zaposlenih. Pristop k raziskovanju teorije je bil pretežno deskriptivne narave. V teoretičnem delu smo uporabili literaturo različnih slovenskih in tujih avtorjev s področja človeških virov. Podatke smo pridobili tudi na spletu. V raziskovalnem delu smo se poglobili v podjetje X, natančneje v poslovalnice v štajerski regiji ter jih analizirali z anketnim vprašalnikom, ki je bil sestavljen na podlagi dodeljene teme. Podatke smo obdelali v statističnem programu SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). Za prikaz podatkov smo uporabili tabele in grafikone v računalniškem programu Microsoft Office Excel. Na podlagi pridobljenih rezultatov smo ocenili stopnjo zadovoljstva zaposlenih in preverili zastavljene hipoteze. Nekatere hipoteze smo sprejeli, večino pa zavrnili. Ugotovili smo, da so zaposleni nezadovoljni, predvsem z denarnimi in nedenarnimi nagradami ter s plačo. Občutek nezadovoljstva jim daje tudi preprečitev sodelovanja in soodločanja v podjetju. Na teh področjih bi podjetje lahko uvedlo izboljšave in tako pripomoglo k boljši uspešnosti podjetja v prihodnje. Ugotovili smo, da komunikacija v podjetju sicer poteka precej dobro, vendar bi tudi na tem področju situacijo lahko še izboljšali.

Secondary abstract: We titled our master’s thesis Internal Communication and Employee Satisfaction in the Company, as communication is a major factor that undoubtedly affects employee satisfaction at work. Communication is the contact between people, which can sometimes cause negative consequences and discomfort in life, yet we do not often think about its influence at all. The master's thesis aim is to find out, what do the concepts communication and satisfaction mean, and what forms and ways of communication we know. We were also interested in what tools to use for internal communication. Finally, we focused on the connection between communication and employee satisfaction at work. The master's thesis is divided into three content sections. In the introduction, we outline the content of the topic we are addressing and the primary objective. We also present the purpose of the master's thesis and the methods we used in our research. In the theoretical part, we deepened into the definition of internal communication and employee satisfaction at work. We described the importance of both, presented ways and tools of internal communication, and looked more closely at the satisfaction factors. We presented the levels and consequences of employee dissatisfaction. The approach to exploring theory was predominantly descriptive. In the theoretical part, we used the literature of various Slovenian and foreign authors in the field of human resources. We also obtained information from the Internet. In the research part, we deepened into the company, more precisely into the branches in the Styrian region, and analyzed them with a questionnaire, which was based on the assigned topic. The data were processed in the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) statistical program. However, we used the tables and charts in Microsoft Office Excel to display the data. Based on the obtained results, we assessed the level of employee satisfaction and tested the hypotheses. We accepted some of the hypotheses but rejected most of the them. We found out that employees are dissatisfied, mainly with pecuniary and non-monetary prizes, and with the salary. They are dissatisfied because they are prevented from participating and co-deciding in the company. In these areas, the company could initiate improvements to help the company’s success in the future. We found out that communication within the company proceeds quite well. However, the situation in this area could also be improved.
