Patronažno varstvo in ohranjanje oralnega zdravja otrok

Abstract

Izhodišča in namen: Patronažno varstvo s pomočjo celostne preventivne in kurativne obravnave pomembno vpliva na zdravstveno stanje prebivalstva. Zdravje zobovja in ustne votline je del splošnega zdravja otrok, diplomirane medicinske sestre v patronažnem varstvu imajo pomembno vlogo tudi pri ohranjanju in izboljševanju le-tega. Namen zaključnega dela je raziskati preventivno vlogo diplomirane medicinskih sester v patronažnem varstvu na področju oralnega zdravja otrok ter ugotoviti ali so matere zadovoljne s preventivnimi patronažnimi obiski. Raziskovalna metoda: V teoretičnem delu je bila uporabljena deskriptivna metoda dela, v empiričnem delu kvalitativna metodologija, kjer smo izvedli tri študije primerov s pomočjo intervjuja. Zbrane podatke smo opisno predstavili. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da so starši največ informacij prejeli s strani zdravstvenih delavcev in preko interneta. Matere so bile zadovoljne s preventivnimi patronažnimi obiski. Informacije in nasveti, ki so jih bile deležne, so bili uporabni in razumljivi. Diskusija in zaključek: Za oralno zdravje otroka je potrebno začeti skrbeti že pred njegovim rojstvom. Ključno vlogo pri tem ima tudi diplomirana medicinska sestra v patronažnem varstvu, s tem, ko promovira zdrav življenjski slog nosečnice, primerno prehrano otroka, razlaga pomen ustrezne ustne higiene ter poudarja škodljivost različnih razvad.

Secondary abstract:	Background: Community health care has a significant impact on the population health trough preventive and curative treatment. Oral health is part of the overall health of children; community nurses play an important role in maintaining and improving it. The purpose of the work is to investigate the preventive role of the community nurses and to determine if mothers are satisfied with the preventive community care visits. Research metodology: In the theoretical part we used descriptive method of work and the qualitative method in the empirical part, where we conducted three case studies through interview. We presented the collected data descriptively. Results: Case studies have shown that parents received the most information from medical staff and from the internet. The mothers were satisfied with the preventive care visits, all the information and advices they received were useful and understandable. Discussion and conclusion: Mothers should take care of child oral health already in pregnancy. Community nurse is also playing a key role in promoting the healthy lifestyle of the pregnant woman, the proper nutrition of the baby, explaining the importance of proper oral hygiene and emphasizing the harmfulness of bad habits.
