Abstract

V diplomskem delu so opisane smernice za doseganje energetske učinkovitosti računalniško-komunikacijskega centra, podan pa je tudi opis izgradnje takšnega centra v poslovni zgradbi. Opisani so tudi standardi za projektiranje podatkovnih centrov, ki zajemajo kriterije določanja energetske učinkovitosti in požarne varnosti, opise pravilnega dimenzioniranja hladilnih sistemov in podatkovnih centrov ter priporočila za ureditev računalniških centrov glede na zahtevano razpoložljivost. Opis izgradnje energetsko učinkovitega računalniško-komunikacijskega centra obsega predstavitev prostorske zasnove, zasnove energetskega napajanja in zasnove hlajenja računalniške opreme v računalniško-komunikacijskem centru.

Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis describes guidelines for achieving energy efficient computer-communication center that also provide a description of the construction of such center in a commercial building. It also describes the standards for the design of the data center, which include the criteria to determine energy efficiency and fire safety of such center. It also provides description of the proper dimensioning of a cooling system and data center itself as well as the recommendations for the creation of the computer centers based on the required availability. A description of the construction of energy efficient computer-communication center includes the presentation of spatial design, the design of the energy supply and the design of the cooling of the computer equipment in the computer-communication center.
