Abstract

V magistrskem delu se bomo osredotočili na zgradbo mobilnega jedra in delovanje mobilnega prenosa podatkov v mobilnem jedru. Opisali bomo arhitekturo in funkcionalnost paketnega prehoda, na katerem deluje mobilno paketno jedro. Po standardu 3GPP bomo opisali konfiguracijo na strežnem podpornem vozlišču splošnega paketa radijske storitve za ozkopasovno omrežje interneta stvari in opravljali meritev v več etažah objekta ter v krajih s slabšim pokrivanjem signala. Nato bomo primerjali izmerjen signal za podaljšano pokritost in LTE na frekvenci 800 MHz s pomočjo modulov Quectel BC66, SIM7020e in SIM7100e. Namen naloge bo preučiti uvedbo ozkopasovnega omrežja interneta stvari v mobilnem podatkovnem jedru in preveriti delovanje v praksi.

Secondary title: Mobile Packet Core and the Introduction of NarrowBand IoT
Secondary abstract: In the master's thesis, we will focus on the structure of mobile core and the operation of mobile data transfer in the mobile core. We will describe the architecture and functionality of the packet gateway on which the mobile packet core operates. According to the 3GPP standard, we will describe the configuration on the serving general packet radio service support node for the NarrowBand-Internet of Things and perform measurements in a multi-story building and places with poor signal coverage. Next, we will compare the measured Extended Coverage and LTE signal at the frequency 800 MHz using the modules Quectel BC66, SIM7020e and SIM7100e. The tasks will be to examine the introduction of the NarrowBand-Internet of Things in the mobile packet core and to check the functionality in practice.
