Abstract

V diplomskem delu sta opisana postopka varjenja TIG in MIG, zaščitni plini, lege varjenja, viri varilnih tokov ter dodajni in osnovni materiali. Z eksperimentalnim delom smo skušali optimizirati proces varjenja z avtomatizirano varilno napravo in določiti sprejemljivosti varov pri uporabi dveh različnih dodajnih materialov. Eksperimenti so pokazali, da na izgled in dimenzije varov vpliva hitrost varjenja, oscilacija, hitrost podajanja žice in uporabljen dodajni material. Ugotovili smo, da pri varjenju z dodajnim materialom legiranim s silicijem dobimo lepše razlite vare oz. navare, prav tako pa dobimo tudi večje tehnološko okno optimalnih parametrov.

Secondary title: Combination welding process optimisation for heavy wall pipe welding
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis describes the welding processes GTAW and GMAW, protective gases, welding positions and sources of welding current as well as basic and additing material. Through experimental part we tried to optimize process of welding with automatic welding machine and determine the acceptability of welds using two different welding wires. Experiments have shown that appearance and dimensions of welds is influenced by welding speed, oscillation, wire feed speed and used additing material. It has been found that welding with silicon alloyed additing material causes better spilled welds and also increases technological window of optimal parameters.
