Abstract

Z diplomsko nalogo smo ugotavljali, kako velika rastlinojeda divjad s selektivnim objedanjem vpliva na naravno pomlajevanje drevesnih in grmovnih vrst na Krasu. Raziskovalni objekti so zavzemali 6 posekanih in v enem delu ograjenih površin, osnovanih leta 2012 v bližini Divače. Analize smo opravili s parno primerjavo med ograjenimi in neograjenimi površinami. Na vsaki vzorčni ploskvi (N=48) smo popisali vertikalno zastiranje zeliščne plasti in vseh lesnatih rastlin, ki smo jim določili vrsto in višino. Dve leti po osnovanju raziskovalnih objektov smo ugotovili, da so razlike med ograjenimi in neograjenimi površinami prisotne v manjši meri in da rastlinojeda divjad z objedanjem najbolj vpliva na naravno pomlajevanje grmovnih vrst.

Secondary title: Impact of large herbivorous on natural regeneration of pine monocultures in the Karst region
Secondary abstract: The aim of the thesis is to determine the impact of large herbivore selective browsing on natural regeneration of tree and shrub species in the Karst region. Research plots included six deforested and partially enclosed areas created in 2012 in the vicinity of Divača. Analyses were conducted with pairwise comparison between fenced and unfenced areas. Vertical shielding of herb layers and all woody plants, for which we previously determined the type of species and height, were inventoried for each sample area (N = 48). Two years after the creation of research facilities we determined that differences between fenced and unfenced areas are present only in minimum rate and that large herbivore with browsing have most influence on natural regeneration of shrub species.
