Abstract

V diplomski nalogi so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave in analize primerjave obremenitve sekača z ropotom pri sečnji mlajših sestojev iglavcev z akumulatorsko (Makita DUC302Z) in bencinsko motorno žago (Makita EA320035B).

Secondary title: Noise exposure during felling of younger coniferous stands with a battery (Makita DUC302Z) and petrol powered chainsaw (Makita EA320035B)
Secondary abstract: This Graduation thesis, demonstrates the results and analysis of noise exposure during felling of younger coniferous stands with a battery (Makita DUC392Z) and petrol powered chainsaw (Makita EA320035B). The study was done in the Vrhnika region in GGO LJ, GGE Vrhnika, in younger coniferous stands, in which most trees were already dead or dying. A total of 30 Trees were felled in the survey, 15 of these with a battery chainsaw and 15 with a petrol chainsaw. Results show that working with the petrol chainsaw produces increased levels of noise exposure in all measured indicators, and all operation types. The measured value for LCpeak was greater for 2,2 dB(C), the value for LAIeq was greater for 13,2 dB(A), the value for LAeq was greater for 12,9 dB(A) and the value for LAeq.kor was greater for 13,1 dB(A) while working with the petrol chainsaw, than with the battery chainsaw. Despite this big discrepancy, the estimated daily noise exposure, caused by the battery chainsaw, still exceeded the upper exposure action value, that are defined within the Slovenian legislation. Consequently the use of protective earmuffs is mandatory.
