Abstract

Prikazane so prednosti in pomanjkljivosti dokumentacije posamezne države.

Secondary title: Designing urban traffic areas for handicapped traffic participants
Secondary abstract: The master's thesis deals with the problem of handicapped persons in traffic. The master's thesis focuses on the disability of people with visual impairments. The work compares Slovenian and Swiss literature regarding the regulation of traffic areas for persons with disabilities. The advantages and disadvantages of the documentation are shown for each country. The second part of the paper presents the results of the analysis of a questionnaire completed by people with different functional disabilities. Real-world problematic situations on pedestrian surfaces are presented and solutions suggested. The last section provides a real case example of the arrangement of pedestrian surface details, which is suitable for all road users. In conclusion, the findings and opinion regarding pedestrian landscaping documentation are presented, as well as guidelines for pedestrian corridors that are appropriate for people with visual impairments. The master's thesis deals with the problem of handicapped persons in traffic.
