diplomsko delo
Abstract
Diplomsko delo sestavljata teoretični in empirični del. Uporabili smo deskriptivno in kvantitativno metodo dela.

The degree paper consists of a theoretical nad an empirical part. The main goal of this paper is to show the importance of teachers when a preschool child comes to hospital, the role of teachers in hospitalized preschool children nad the analysis of preschool children's rights when entering a hospital. In the theoretical part it is discussed how children cope with illness, what the role of parents nad teachers is nad what the children's rights are once they are in a hospital. Every hospitalization has different effects on a child. With the empirical research we wanted to analyze the teacher's role in a hospitalized child nad the role the teacher has in identifying problems a hospitalized child is facing. The degree paper is based on the descriptive and quantitative method of work. Information was gathered through survey questions. 20 teachers working in a hospital nad 80 parents who had a child in the Pediatric hospital of Ljubljana were included in the research. With the help of the survey we asserted that a teacher who is adequately qualified for the job can be good nad professional at his or her work. It is important for teachers to cooperate with other teachers, to attend classes nad seminars organized by hospitals nad to be part of a hospital's working team. Teachers working in hospitals follow the rules nad regulations that apply to all public kindergartens. All children treated in hospital wards are included in the hospital kindergarten. In hospitals' kindergartens cooperation with parents is different than cooperation with parents in classical kindergartens. Parents of ill children expect teachers to be more understanding, supportive nad mindful of the life situation they are facing. The teacher has an important role in the process of a child's healing, which begins with the admission of a child to the unit. The teacher is also a part of a working group inside a hospital. |
