Abstract

Frazeologija je samostojna jezikoslovna veda, ki proučuje jezikovne enote z lastnostmi frazemov. Metafore so vsakodnevno prisotne v našem govoru in so del sporazumevanja, zato predstavljajo nenadomestljiv način izražanja. Frazeme srečujemo v vsakdanjem življenju, so sestavni del pogovora in jih uporabljamo v vsakdanji komunikaciji. Učenci se z njimi pogosto srečujejo v šoli, doma in v umetnostnih besedilih. Namen raziskave je ugotoviti, kako nogometne frazeme razumejo učenci v 4. in 9. razreda osnovne šole glede na starost, spol in vrsto frazema. Zanimalo nas je, ali sta starost in spol pomembna pri razumevanju določenih frazemov. Analiza rezultatov je pokazala, da je spol pomemben pri razumevanju nogometnih frazemov, saj so se pri razumevanju le teh bolje odrezali fantje. Pri razumevanju nogometnih frazemov je zelo pomembna tudi starost, starejši učenci bolje razumejo pomen frazemov. Raziskava je tudi pokazala, da so mlajšim učencem največ težav delali frazemi, rabljeni v prenesenem pomenu, saj so jih velikokrat razumeli dobesedno.

Secondary abstract: Phraseology is an independent linguistic science which studies linguistic units with idioms' features. Metaphors are involved in our speech on a daily basis and are part of communication, therefore they represent an irreplaceable way of expression. We encounter phrases in everyday life as they are an integral part of the conversation and are used in everyday communication. Students often encounter them at school, at home, and in fictional texts. The aim of the research is to find out how football phrases are understood by students in 4th and 9th grade of elementary school according to age, gender and type of phrase. We were interested in whether age and gender were important for understanding certain phrases. The analysis of results has shown that gender is important in understanding football idioms as boys performed better in understanding them. Age is also very important in understanding football idioms, the older the students, the better they understand the meaning of idioms. The research has also shown that younger students had difficulties understanding phrases used in a figurative way. These were often taken literary by them.
