magistrsko delo
Abstract
Spletno medvrstniško nasilje postaja vedno večja težava v današnji družbi, saj zaradi vse večje uporabe spleta med otroki in mladostniki njegova pogostost zelo narašča. Glede na stopnjo spletne viktimizacije in nasilnega vedenja so bili učenci razvrščeni v štiri skupine: spletni nasilneži (108), spletne žrtve (84), spletni nasilneži - žrtve (197) in neudeleženi (225).

ǂThe ǂcharacteristics of cyberbullying participants according to the degree of cyber victimization and bullying behaviour |
Secondary abstract: |
Cyberbullying is becoming a big problem in today's society. Because of the increasing use of Internet among children and adolescents its frequency is increasing greatly. It is peer violence that takes place online and has been committed through electronic communication devices. Researches show that cyberbullies, cybervictims and cyber bully-victims have greater psychosocial and behavioral problems than uninvolved individuals. The purpose of the master's thesis was to compare groups of participants in cyberbullying and to identify differences in terms of demographic, psychosocial and behavioral characteristics. The entire sample included 2073 students, aged 13 to 20, from a total of 20 primary and secondary schools in Slovenia. According to the level of cyber victimization and violent behavior, students were classified into four groups: cyberbullies (108), cybervictims (84), cyber bully-victims (197), and uninvolved (225). The results have shown that cyberbullies are older compared to cybervictims and uninvolved, have high self-esteem, low empathy, the greatest difficulty in expressing anger and a low level of loneliness. They perceive a relatively high peer social support and themselves as very popular. There are more girls among the cybervictims, they are the youngest compared to other groups, they have the lowest self-esteem, the highest empathy, they feel the loneliest, they perceive the lowest peer social support and themselves as less popular. Cyber bully-victims are more similar in characteristics to cyberbullies than cybervictims, as they are older compared to cybervictims and uninvolved, have low empathy and great difficulty in expressing anger. Compared to cybervictims they have fewer problems in peer relationships. Uninvolved students have high empathy, the highest self-esteem, and the least difficulty in expressing anger compared to other groups. They do not feel lonely and perceive the high peer social support, but they do not perceive themselves as very popular. They spend the least time on social networks compared to other groups. |
