Abstract

V zaključni nalogi je predstavljena in analizirana problematika štirikrakega križišča na državni cesti R1 221 v Hrastniku. Pregled ceste je narejen s pomočjo smernic za pregledovanje varnosti cest, katerih namen je ugotavljanje nepravilnosti obravnavanega križišča ter podajanje rešitev za odpravo le teh. Poleg pregleda je narejena analiza horizontalne in vertikalne signalizacije ter prometnih nesreč. Ugotovljeno je, da so talne označbe dotrajane, obravnavano križišče predstavlja nevarnost za vse udeležence v prometu zaradi neprilagojene hitrosti vozil na GPS ter nepreglednosti. Na podlagi ugotovljenih pomanjkljivosti so predlagane kratkoročne in dolgoročna rešitev. Rešitev vidimo v krožnem križišču, saj je analiza pokazala, da bi se varnost v prometu z umestitvijo krožnega križišča izboljšala.

Secondary title: Traffic safety analysis of the intersection on the state road in Hrastnik
Secondary abstract: In the following Master thesis, the analysis of the four lane state road R1 221 intersection in Hrastnik is presented and studied on the basis of its more difficult aspects. Field work on the road was conducted with the help of guidelines for road safety, which were essential in detecting irregularities of the analyzed intersection while providing solutions for improve-ment of excisting situation. In addition, the analysis of both vertical and horizontal signaliza-tion has been made, and compared with the past traffic accidents data. The research showed that the floor road markings are worn out and that the intersection considered poses a danger for all traffic participants due to its opacity and unadjusted speed of vehicles. On the basis of discovered shortcomings of the particular intersection, both short-term and long-term solutions are presented. As analysis showed, changing intersection into a roundabout would greatly improve traffic safety.
