Abstract

Cilj tega zaključnega dela je prikazati pomen geotermalne energije v trajnostnem razvoju energetike in njen položaj v primerjavi z drugimi obnovljivimi viri energije. Izkoriščanje geotermalne energije je eden od okoljsko in podnebno najbolj sprejemljivih načinov komercialne proizvodnje energije, na voljo je skozi vso leto ne glede na atmosferske vplive. Podan je prikaz razpoložljivih tehnologij za izkoriščanje geotermalne energije in možni vplivi na okolje. Razlikujemo med geotermalnimi elektrarnami s suho paro, geotermalnimi elektrarnami z enkratnim in dvakratnim izparevanjem ter geotermalnimi elektrarnami z binarnim ciklom (organski Rankinov cikel in Kalina cikel). Posebej podrobno je prikazan tehnološki postopek pridobivanja koristnih oblik energije iz Napredne geotermalne elektrarne z internalizacijo ogljikovih spojin AAT Geothermae. Napredna elektrarna AAT Geothermae bo pridobivala geotermalno vodo in vse utekočinjene pline. Toploto geotermalne vode in navedene pline bo uporabljala za proizvodnjo energije, medtem ko ne bo prišlo do izpuščanja ogljikovega dioksida v ozračje, ampak bo ta prek vrtine za vtiskanje vrnjen nazaj v ležišče ter na ta način ne bo podnebnega vpliva na atmosfero.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to show the meaning of geothermal energy in the sustainable development of energy and its position in comparison to other renewable energy sources. In light of the environment and climate the use of geothermal energy is one of the most acceptable methods of the commercial production of energy. Besides that, it is available throughout the year and is not affected by the atmosphere. The thesis shows the available technologies for the use of geothermal energy and possible influences on the environment. We distinguish between geothermal power plants with hot steam, geothermal power plants with single and double evaporation and geothermal power plants with a binary cycle (organic Rankine cycle and Kalina cycle). Especially detailed is the technological procedure for the production of useful forms of energy from the Advanced Geothermal Power Plant with the internalisation of carbon AAT Geothermae. The Advanced Geothermal Power Plant AAT Geothermae will acquire the geothermal water and all liquified gases. The heat of the geothermal water and the mentioned gases will be used for the production of energy without any emissions of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The carbon dioxide gas will be returned into the deposit with the help of an injection well, thus preventing a climate impact on the atmosphere.
