Abstract
Uvod: Poškodbe in nesreče so vodilni vzrok smrti otrok po celem svetu. Otroci in učitelji večino svojega časa preživijo v šolskem okolju, kar pomeni, da obstaja velika verjetnost za poškodbe ali nenadne bolezni, ki zahtevajo nudenje prve pomoči. Žal je veliko študij ugotovilo, da je znanje učiteljev na področju prve pomoči zelo nizko. V zaključnem delu želimo ugotoviti, kakšno je znanje prve pomoči študentov zaključnih letnikov pedagoške smeri.
Metode: Podatke za empirični del raziskave smo pridobili z anketiranjem študentov 4. letnika Pedagoške fakultete v Mariboru in Pedagoške fakultete v Ljubljani, smer Razredni pouk. Podatke smo zbrali, analizirali, opisali in prikazali s pomočjo grafov. Uporabili smo deskriptivno statistično metodo analize podatkov.
Rezultati: V raziskavi je sodelovalo 45 anketirancev. Anketirani so pokazali slabo znanje prve pomoči. Najmanj znanja so pokazali s področja temeljnih postopkov oživljanja (13 %) in s področja imobilizacije zloma (24 %). 64 % anketiranih meni, da je njihovo znanje pomanjkljivo in prve pomoči ne bi mogli uspešno nuditi.
Razprava in sklep: Znanje prve pomoči študentov pedagoške smeri ob zaključku študija je slabo. Ker imajo zelo slabo znanje iz temeljnih postopkov oživljanja in o svojem znanju prve pomoči niso prepričani, predlagamo nekajurno izobraževanje iz nudenja prve pomoči otroku v sklopu študija.

Introduction: Injuries and accidents are the leading cause of death of children around the world. Children and teachers spend most of their time in school enviroment, wich means, that there is a big possibility that injuries and suden ilnesses, that require first aid, will occur. Unfortunately many studies have shown that teacher have very low first aid knowledge. In our research, we wanted to find out how much of first aid knowledge do students of Faculty of Education Maribor and Ljubljana have.
Methods: The data for the empirical part of the research were obtained by interviewing 4th year students of Faculty of Education Maribor and Ljubljana, programm Elementary Education. We gathered, analysed, described and dysplayed the data with graphs. Descriptive statistical method of analysis was used.
Results: The survey included 45 participants. They showed good knowledge of first aid. Participants showed the least knowledge in basic life support and resuscitation (13%) and in immobilization of fractures (24%). 64% of participants think, their knowledge of first aid is insufficient and that they wouldn't be able to preform first aid successfully.
Discussion and conclusion: First aid knowledge in students of pedagogical field, at the end of their studies, is good. Because they have low knowledge of basic life support and they don't belive their knowledge is good, we recommend course of first aid in children, within their studies. |
