magistrsko delo
Abstract
Predlagali smo bolj kakovostna praktična izobraževanja z več vsebinami sodobnih tehnologij, več izobraževanja v realnem okolju z zahtevnejšimi nalogami in odgovornostjo.

Employability of graduates of laboratory dental prosthetics |
Secondary abstract: |
The master's thesis presents the employability of graduates of laboratory dental prosthetics and the satisfaction of graduates with practical training during studies. In the theoretical part, we defined the conceptual difference between employment and employability and focused on the problem of employability of graduates with tertiary education. We also described the practical training of laboratory dental prosthetics students and key competencies they need to achieve in order to successfully transition into the labour market.
The research part of the master's thesis is based on quantitative methodology. The study was conducted among graduates of laboratory dental prosthetics who graduated by the end of September 2019. The study examined the level of employability of graduates after finishing their studies and their satisfaction with practical training during studies. With the help of graduates, we were also looking for suggestions for improving the study program.
We found that, on average, graduates do not have problems with employability. The research showed only an average overall satisfaction of the graduates with the practical training and at the same time offered quite a few suggestions for improving the study program, which can bring some advantages to graduates when entering the labour market.
We have proposed higher quality practical trainings with more modern technology content, more education in real environment with more demanding tasks and responsibility. We believe that the introduction of a half-year professional practice is essential for the acquisition of quality work competences. We also propose continuous monitoring of both the career paths of graduates and the needs of employers on the labour market to facilitate the adaptation of the study program to market requirements. |
